Lesson: Design and technology
During lock down we had a new kitchen area fitted in to the dining hall so that all children can have access to the cooking curriculum. This has enables us to deliver high quality cooking lessons which enables all year groups to design, plan, prepare, cook, taste and evaluate their products. Year 3 bake cakes for a picnic, Year 4 make pizzas, Year 5 fajitas and Year 6 use traditional World War 2 recepies to make carrot scones and potatoe cakes. They learn many skills during these lessons and the school smells amazing!
