A message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is an absolute pleasure to lead our exciting and creative school. At Nevill Road Junior School we are a TEAM….Together Everyone Achieves More. Due to the special relationships that we develop between children, staff and families, the school has a unique quality where individuality is respected and celebrated.

We are a nurturing three form entry school based in Bramhall, where the children’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything. We believe that children can only learn best when they feel happy and safe and through our Restorative Approach we enable children to share how they feel and be listened to. We are extremely proud of the PE and Sports awards that we have won over the past six years including the AfPE Quality Mark and the 'good' Ofsted report in 2023, which highlights the many strengths of the school.

Close links are made with the Infant School to ensure that the transition between Years 2 and 3 is as successful as possible. We also work together with other schools in the local area including the High Schools. Tours are welcomed throughout the year and we encourage new Reception parents to visit the Juniors as well as the Infants, in order to experience the complete learning journey from Reception to Year 6.
