Catch up Funding
The government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up with any lost learning that they may have experienced due to lockdown. This includes a one off universal £850 million catch – up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for the lost teaching time.
Please see our Catch up premium spending report, to see how we are using the funding and our future plans for the year. We have ensured that we have followed the guidance from the EFF (Education Endowment Funding) to formulate our ‘catch up’ plan. This guidance has also been added to this page of the website.
